What time do tours start and how long are they?

Our tours all generally start at the same time. Cowichan pickup at 10:30am and Victoria or Nanaimo pickup at 10:00am. We leave our last stop at 3:00pm.

How do we book?

All bookings can be made online simply by clicking on the ‘BOOK HERE’ button on the respective tour page or over the phone at (250) 900-1914.

Can we drink on the bus?

Consumption of alcohol on the bus is prohibited.

 

How much time do we have at each location?

We have approximately forty five minutes to one hour to spend at each location 

 

How big can our group be?

Our bus is able to accommodate up to 16 guests.

 

What is your tour cancellation policy?

Public Tours: Cancellations within 6 weeks of the booking date will incur a $50 fee per guest. 
Cancellations within 2 weeks of the booking date are nonrefundable. 

 

Private Tours:

Cancellations within 3 months of the booking date incur a $50 fee per guest. 
Cancellations within 1 month of the booking date are nonrefundable. 

 

Is lunch included?

No, lunch is not included.

 

Wine Tours: The wineries we visit have limited food options but do have picnic policies so guests are encouraged to pack lunch/snacks to enjoy at one of our stops. Alternatively, we can arrange to bring a sandwich platter from Station Street Cafe for an additional $10/guest.

Mixed Beverage Tours: There will be an opportunity to purchase lunch at Red Arrow Brewery. You're welcome to bring snacks for the bus as well.

How far in advance should we book?

We get bookings coming in anywhere from one week to six months out. But on average, most bookings are made about two in advance. We advise booking in advance particularly for the summer months to ensure you get the date you’d like. Saturdays tend to be our most popular day for bookings.

Can we add guests to a booking later?

We understand that it can be quite the challenge to wrangle a group of people together. If you have a booking date you are sure of but need to confirm the total guests, we suggest that you book a tour for the minimum number of guests that are confirmed. In the online booking form, leave us a note stating the total number of guests you estimate you’ll be. That way we can secure the booking for the estimated amount and confirm total guests closer to the date. Please confirm the total number of guests at least a couple weeks before the tour date.

Which wineries will we go to?

We determine which wineries in the Cowichan Valley to visit based on a number of factors. Time of year, group size, availability, tour occasion, location of pickup, etc.
