Where We Visit in the Cowichan Valley
Honey Bee Lane - The Bee Farm we visit is located in North Cowichan along the shore of Quamichan Lake. The beautiful property is home to old growth trees, Garry Oaks and various wildlife along with the bees. Tour the property with the owners, see the bees hard at work, and sample some of their delicious honey.
Cowichan Station Creamery - Home to the only cheese vending machine we've ever heard of. Head inside the cheese shop to meet the owners and sample a variety of the cheese they produce. Across from the shop you'll see the cows, donkeys and other farm animals enjoying their happy lives in the pasture.
Local Winery - There are couple of different wineries we switch between depending on time of year, weather and availability. All are within about ten minutes of the cheese shop.
