About Merridale Cidery
You’ll find Merridale tucked away in Cobble Hill, just off the main road and easy to miss if you don’t know it’s there. Turn in and follow the winding driveway as it opens up to a beautiful orchard frontage, especially in the warmer months when everything is in bloom.
As you make your way down, you’ll start to see the property unfold—apple trees lining the grounds, paths leading through the front yard, and the farmhouse-style restaurant welcoming you in at the end.

What Makes Merridale Cidery Unique
Merridale has been producing traditional craft cider in the Cowichan Valley for years, using estate-grown apples and a slow fermentation process that reflects its farm-to-glass approach. In addition to cider, they also offer small-batch spirits and a full food menu, making it one of the more well-rounded and relaxed stops in the valley.
It’s the kind of place where you can take your time—wander the grounds, grab a tasting, and settle in for a bit before heading to the next stop.
